Medical Directorship is not a one-size-fits-all service, and it should not feel like one.

I work with nurse practitioners, clinic owners, and healthcare entrepreneurs who need physician oversight that
is grounded in real-world experience. As a board-certified physician with a full-time Emergency Medicine
background and an active clinic owner, I understand both the clinical and operational realities of running a

Professional Background

My approach to Medical Directorship is shaped by direct experience in patient care and clinic operations, not
theory. I currently serve as a Medical Director and own a cash-based wellness clinic. This gives me a practical
understanding of

• the balance between patient care and business operations

Providers I work with are not looking for a passive signature. They are looking for a physician who understands

Understanding Medical Directorship Requirements

There is a common misconception that every clinic requires a Medical Director to operate. In reality,
requirements vary significantly by state. Many states do not require a Medical Director for clinic ownership or
operation, while others require varying levels of physician collaboration or oversight depending on the services
provided.

Part of my role is to help clarify where your practice stands within that landscape.
This includes

• identifying whether physician collaboration is required
• ensuring appropriate structure where needed
• avoiding unnecessary layers of complexity where it is not

The goal is not to over-regulate your clinic. The goal is to align your structure with what is actually required and
appropriate.

Scope of Services

Medical Directorship services are tailored to the needs of each practice, but typically include three core
components

NP Collaboration Agreements

Structured physician collaboration relationships when required or appropriate for your state and practice model.

Chart Review

Ongoing chart review to support documentation quality, clinical consistency, and appropriate oversight.

Protocol Development

Development or refinement of clinical protocols, treatment pathways, and workflows to support safe and
efficient operations. Depending on the clinic, services may also extend to standing orders, workflow input, and
general clinical guidance as the practice grows

Approach to Collaboration

Most providers seeking a Medical Director are building something of their own. They have a vision for how
they want their clinic to function and grow

I respect that.

My role is not to interfere with your autonomy or impose unnecessary barriers. I do not micromanage clinical
decisions or attempt to reshape your model.

Instead, I serve as:

• a resource when clinical or operational questions arise
• a sounding board for decision-making
• a physician providing appropriate oversight when required
• a partner focused on protecting the integrity of your clinic

This approach allows providers to maintain ownership of their practice while still having access to experienced
physician support
